One place for hours, sign-offs and readiness
Fixed-wing and rotary, RPL through PPL and beyond — grounded in CASR Part 61.
Student readiness at a glance
An organisation readiness board with per-student hours summaries and readiness snapshots — members opt in to share, so you see your whole cohort without chasing paper.
Sign-offs with a traceable history
Instructor sign-offs and endorsements are recorded in a tamper-evident, hash-linked history. Certified entries lock and later changes remain attributable.
Your currencies, your rules
Define your own unit currencies and organisation FTL schemes — members track them in their logbook alongside the statutory CASA ones.
Milestone-anchored exam readiness
Theory readiness is anchored to real training milestones, so you can see who is on track for their exam — not just who has been clicking through questions.
Sortie briefs & score cards
Instructor teaching resources — sortie briefs for lessons, and LMP score cards with flight elements for grading dual and check sorties.
A free logbook for every student
Every student gets the Basic Logbook free, forever — with EFB track import (OzRunways / ForeFlight) and instructor sign-off tools available as they progress.
CASA-first recency
AFR, IPC, NVFR review and medical validity are tracked to CASR Part 61's actual rules — end-of-month validity, the 12-month IPC, Class 5 self-declared medicals and more.
Instructors, managed
Instructors request to join and you approve them — a clean active-instructor list that controls exactly who can sign off your students.
Up and running in three steps
Create your organisation
Sign up as an organisation and name your workspace — it takes a few minutes.
Invite students & instructors
Share your join code with students and approve your instructors. Members opt in to share their readiness with you.
Oversee readiness
Watch hours, milestones, sign-offs and theory readiness roll up on your readiness board — and step in where a student needs it.
Records with a traceable history
Training records are only as good as their provenance. PilotIQ is built so a sign-off means something.
Hash-linked sign-offs
Every certified flight and endorsement is appended to a tamper-evident history. Certified entries lock, and every recorded change remains attributable.
Verify without the app
Any instructor or examiner can certify a flight from a student's sign-off code at pilotiq.com.au/verify — no install needed, name and pilot ID recorded against the entry.
Milestone prerequisite checks
Each student's nearest milestone is checked against the prerequisites PilotIQ tracks — medical, ARN, competencies and pre-solo authorisation — so missing evidence is easier to review.
Readiness is a decision-support signal — it doesn't replace your head of operations' judgement, and students keep their official logbook as CASA requires.
School pricing
Founding schools: free for your first 3 months. After that, the school pays per active instructor seat. Student membership seats are not billed to the school; students self-fund theory and keep the Basic Logbook free, forever.
